I do. I look at your art and it gives me goosebumps, it's so good. I love the way you do your characters! I don't do characters. I'm mostly an animal and scenery artist; nature. I think this is one of the reasons why it's good for artists of any medium to come together, because ultimately we support each other, but also, I think artists are a unique group of people that the outside world doesn't always understand fully. :P

If I had a faster internet connection than good ol' dial up, the reloading probably wouldn't have irritated me quite so much, but having to reload pages constantly on dial-up, it really irritated me to no end. :( Besides, Opera has a community site all its own, which I joined... of course. :)

Ok, some Spam it! Damn it! of my own. hehe Eyecatching Artworks... What is it about? Well, I'm on Mainstreet a good portion of the time. Often an art piece catches my eye. Soooo... I thought it might be good to just go with it and take it a step further. The images in members' photo and drawing slots appear randomly and so it will be geared towards those that login regularly, naturally. It not only offers a little reward/recognition of members' works, but also a little reward for members that make a point to be regular Elftown 'loginers'! (Now there's a word! hehe) It's brand spanking new, so I'm sure it has a few wrinkles to work out. Any suggestions are more than welcome!

I have other projects/ideas in the works, too, that will also likely be blessed with wrinkles. hehe You know I'll talk about them here and definitely want suggestions! :D

2009-02-07 [Artsieladie]: *boogies* lol I'm waaaaay behind on Supernatural and I will never get caught up. :/ The TV that I usually watch, my daughter hooked up something wrong and I just don't take the time to correct it. So, I have to either go in to another room or stay in the kitchen where there is a good working TV and I can't do this, because my computer in my multi-media creative studio room, where the TV is that's hooked up incorrectly. :P

They used to show SPN on tv here but it was on at 1am o_O. I watched it all on the lappy which is the coolest lappy ever cause I connect it to my huge TV and watch w/e I want there ^^_

2009-02-24 [Artsieladie]: Ooh, very nice, [Morphea]! :D I agree with [Jitter], though. I think we artists when we're working on a piece, we become so familiar with it, so much a part of it, that we can't see exactly what needs to be modified, and often just a little. But a fresh pair of eyes can spot what we can't instantly. I have often put a work on hold and out of my sight for a period of time. Then at a later date, taken it back out and in essence, I'm giving the piece that 'fresh pair of eyes'. By doing so, I have been able to spot what I wasn't able to, when I was working on it.

2009-02-24 [Morphea]: Yes that would be a good idea [Artsieladie] to put it away and come back and look at it with a fresh view. My problem is that when I start a piece I would preferably be done yesterday ;P I do not like to work on several pieces at once. I have tried but does not work for me......it is a mystery

2009-02-25 [Artsieladie]: I don't like working on more than one piece at a time, either, nor do I like to quit until I feel it is finished. But... there are those times, more than I'd care to admit, when I feel that no matter what I try, I'm just not getting the result I want. It is then, I concede and put the piece on ice and go on to something else. :P
